• After testing it out I found that it turns off a few minutes after the TV is turned off.

• It can be programed to be turn off with the tv by remote or sleep timer... well at least with my 39 in. insignia ruko tv via optical cable.

• Sorry. Don't think so. its just a sound bar. I shut it off when I turn my system off. Sometimes I forget to turn off my system before I go to bed and everything is still on when I go to use it the next day.
