why is the sound bar so hard to turn on and off?????? null

My sound bar works fine. I have had no problem with the controls. It turns on and off automatically when my TV turns on or off. Occasionally, I have to manually turn it on, but that's only if I turn on an auxiliary device (DVD player, Media Player, etc.). Hope this helps.

Yes, the remote is very fickle. I end up just leaving it on all the time so it's ready to go when I turn the TV on.

Check for anything obstructing the sensor and make sure you are pointing the remote directly at it. If everything is clear, it could possibly be a weak battery.
