Sounds like the same problem I initially had. But then I stopped and re-read the instructions. Which are typical instructions. Not so great. Soundbar power on. Check. On the remote, under SOURCE, and it sounds like you connected with the RCA cable, push the RCA button. Then I discovered that I had to select the "type" of sound I wanted. Standard, Theater, or News. There is a button for that selection on the remote. Labeled DSP. On the soundbar itself it is the second button from the left. Take your pick. A light on the sound bar lets you know which type of sound you selected. And then I had sound.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Same issue here. I used the RCA adapter and plugged the soundbar into the headphone jack on my Visio TV in order to get sound.
