• A:Answer It should work with any smart TV, I hooked it up to my Samsung with the optical cable (TOSLINK), directions are in the book. Had a pretty good sound too.

Q: QuestionWhen I hook the optical cord to the tv and sound bar I get a horrible static noise coming from the speaker. Also my tv doesn't have a pcm option in my settings. And the in put out put cords aren't working either..... PLEASE HELP

• A:Answer Seems like you optical cable broke. It's fiber optic so you don't want to bend it. I would be surprised if best buy gave you a replacement cable if you brought it all to your store. Download your TV's manual and find the settings. They are there since you have digital audio ports. Had you wrote your model #, someone would have helped you .

Q: QuestionThe sound bar just stopped working. Nothing is coming through on the speakers. I have done everything that was on the troubleshooting guide. I did notice that the DSP does stay on. Would that have anything to do with it?

• A:Answer You may be on the wrong input channel. This happened to me. Sometimes when you switch channels you have to wait a few seconds before the sound comes out.

Q: QuestionHave a "43" Samsung, with a Ruko, Cable box and a DVD player installed to TV, question is, if you are using the DVD player, will the sound go to the sound bar from the DVD. Or the Roku, and cable box? Do you have to make any changes to sound bar?

• A:Answer After I had everything connected I had to go into my tv’s settings (I have a samsung as well) and switched the audio to an external speaker source. I use my gaming systems on my tv and everything works perfect so I’m assuming it would be the same for a regular DVD player. Don’t know about the Roku though.

Q: QuestionI have a Samsung series 6 smart tv but it does not have Bluetooth. We have Dish TV hooked HDMI 1 port on tv. Is the insignia sound bar compatible and where do I hook the cords...to tv Or dish box? Do I need any additional cords to supplement?

Q: QuestionI have this soundbar- want to use a microphone for vow renewal. Maybe Singing Machine SMM107 Microphone. Or Pyle Model : PUSBMIC50.. we have a laptop, but I am not sure of it has an aux line out for the 2nd model. Any suggestions/inexpensive ideas? Thx

• A:Answer I don't know why you want to use a laptop, but I am Pretty sure all laptops have an audio out port, since their speakers are so meager, even on expensive models. Whether you can connect an exterior microphone is difficult to say without knowing the make/model of your laptop. You should be able to connect any microphone directly to the soundbar, however, as long as the connecting cables are correct.
