If headphones aren't working through the auxiliary (green) jack, then they most likely will not work. You could try them, but it may be a problem with your unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say no, because of the fact you do not get sound out of the headphone jack either. Does your laptop have a separate audio out option? If not, then no, these will not work. As another way to try to get sound, have you checked the Dell website for any driver updates, or have you reinstalled the drivers? That might help.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your headphones don't work when plugged into the speaker jack, your speakers won't work either.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately no. Odds are your laptop is having a sound card issue since it was randomly working in the past but now nothing at all. On a laptop, these would most likely be plugged into the headphone jack but since that isn't working either these won't be a solution for you. A new sound card is what is needed here, honestly a new laptop would do the trick all around... But first I would try to uninstall then reinstall the drivers for the sound card before anything. Should be under device manager in the control panel. It's been a while since I worked with Vista. If that doesn't work, open up the base of the laptop and make sure all your connections are good. Something may have simply come loose. Good luck and hope this helps..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your headphone don't work, neither will the speakers. Your sound card might be bad.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. It sounds like your sound card is shot. You can try reinstalling the audio device driver as it might be a software problem, but more than likely it's hardware.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say no . These plug into your headphone or audio out Jack also . So if headphones will not work neither will these.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I doubt it. If headphones don't work, then these probably won't. They use the headphone jack, which seems to be a problem with your computer. (Sounds like you may have a sound card problem.)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If no audio output device is being found on your computer, these speakers will probably not be the fix. It sounds like you may have a hardware issue with your sound card, or perhaps the drivers just need to be reinstalled. These speakers would plug into the headphone jack of your computer, so if headphones aren't working, then speakers wouldn't work either. Check the hardware profile of your computer in control panal to see if there are issues indicated relating to your sound or media card.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
