“The tall storage section in door seems useless, the holder going across just dangles, doesn't hold. When you open door item falls out. It looks just like picture so maybe it's me. How does it work? How does it hold anything in? Is there a trick to it?”

To Insignia: JoyN is obviously NOT referring to the can rack! H/she is writing aboout the rack in the door to the RIGHT of the can rack. That rack (actually more of a restraint) is just a few inches above the base of the door. This means it would work to hold a can or small bottle, but anything tall, like a wine bottle, would likly fall out with the motion of opening the door.
