Yes, theirs nothing to see if there isn’t a drive inserted into one of the ports. I currently use two of these docks, one attached to my Workstation, and one attached to my NAS, you don’t see the docks, but the laptop will recognize the drive once inserted, if once you insert the drive you don’t see it connected within a minute, you should look in Disk Management to see what problem there is with the inserted drive, NOT a dock issue. The drives will connect as a typical USB device, and you should see the drive notification detected as a typical USB device connected, and can “eject the drive” from the Laptop with the sys tray app as usual.
