Yes, as long as you have a free PCI-E slot on your motherboard you are good to go.

Yes, there's no need to connect it to a power connector, just installed in the PCI express slot and that's all you need to do!!

It just plugs into the motherboard. No other connection was needed and it powered the external WiFi adapter with no problems.

Yes it did on my new Dell it also did not have a power but it works just fine.

I wish it did. I built my pc n yet i didnt have an extra cable for it, thus, it didn't work. Luckily my roommate built pcs too n had an extra cable. I used it n it works as normal. Sadly u need to have it connected to power. In my situation if u don't have a cable you actually have to contact the power supply service n ask for a specific cord. Too much hassle in my opinion...
