- Answer I did a search for 'Renesas uPD720202' ,which is the chip used by this card, and found the driver at 'driver.softpedia.com'. I downloaded version 3.0.23.0 as it was the newest driver listed. I've had no problems with it on my Win 7 computer. Best of luck, John.

- Answer According to the installation guide -- no. It requires a PCIe slot. My Asus board has the x1 and the x16. It says it requires Windows 8.1 and above (I upgraded to Windows 10 64 bit). Not sure about your system board on the Gateway, but the Windows version doesn't meet the minimum requirements.

- Answer no. this cannot be used as a gpu riser. it is a usb controller/hub.
