• These units do have a threaded port on the bottom. Unfortunately the stability is going to depend on the stand hardware.

• Sounds like that type couple the screws are female type, but very small.

• They come with wall mount type brackets. For hanging outside.

• These speakers are light enough that I used the hole in the back of the speakers to hang them from a wall. I like the sound better coming up from a high position.
