Q: QuestionCan unit be installed under-counter?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer The wine cooler is designed to be free standing and should not be recessed or built in. The wine cooler requires 5 inches of space on the sides and back for proper ventilation. Also, the wine cooler should be out of direct sunlight and away from any heat source. If the space you would like to place the wine cooler in meets these criteria it will be fine.

Q: QuestionCan I put the wine cooler in my laundry room?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Of course! But do keep in mind that as the room temp fluctuates, so will the temp inside the wine cooler. The smaller the cooler, the more likely the temp is to vary. If you want to be certain that the wine will remain at a consistent temp, get a large fridge. Most wines can tolerate some temp fluctuation so if you aren't storing a $250 bottle for a decade, you'll probably be fine. Otherwise, put the cooler where it works for you. It takes some of the panache' out of pulling a bottle of wine from you personal cellar when you have to go into the laundry room, but really, who cares? Salud!

Q: QuestionI not a big wine guy, but I do enjoy a glass now and then. My question is a 60lb wine cooler be ok on top of my new black & silver refrigerator ? Or should I buy the smaller rack?
Asked by Sack.
- A:Answer Meh. It'll look clunky. As a general rule, you shouldn't store wine on top of the fridge. It gets too hot and degrades the wine. In a cooler, the temp is more constant, but not perfect. And it's affected by the temp around it. So if you put a small cooler in a hot area, it will struggle more to keep the wine at a consistent temp. Don't get me wrong, I like this little cooler. It's an attractive appliance, and would work, but it's not the ideal place. If the top of your fridge is the only option for storage, I'd recommend a smaller cooler. Just realize that you can't store the wine in there forever. You'll have to commit to turning over the stock every year or two. All the more reason to enjoy a glass more often! Salud!

Q: QuestionIs this only for white wine?
Asked by Twiggy.
- A:Answer I would imagine that this can be used for any bottle that you would want chilled. The temperature control doesn't make anything super cold but gives a good chill on it. I'm actually using it for vodka bottles, beer and some tins that need to be chilled. The racks that come with it are made for bottles that are 750ml( Thats the size ketel one bottles I have and it fits perfectly) .

Q: QuestionWithin how many degrees does the internal temperature fluctuate from the set temperature? (Thermostat variance)
Asked by WineClubGuy.
- A:Answer I put a good thermometer in mine and the temperature fluctuates 20 degrees!! It is set at 57, the unit cycles on at 65 and runs until it drops to 45. I have about 18 bottles inside, and the unit is located as instructed. This is pretty disconcerting, is really bad for wine storage. Is this normal? Has anyone else used a thermometer?

Q: QuestionWhat is the interior depth?
Asked by Shtiksh.
- A:Answer 13.5" along the inside wall. Interior side of the door however allows for some room; I have a bottle that is 14" from back of fridge to its top and fridge closes with still a little bit of space.
