As a general rule, you shouldn't store wine on top of the fridge. It gets too hot and degrades the wine. In a cooler, the temp is more constant, but not perfect. And it's affected by the temp around it. So if you put a small cooler in a hot area, it will struggle more to keep the wine at a consistent temp.
Don't get me wrong, I like this little cooler. It's an attractive appliance, and would work, but it's not the ideal place.
If the top of your fridge is the only option for storage, I'd recommend a smaller cooler. Just realize that you can't store the wine in there forever. You'll have to commit to turning over the stock every year or two. All the more reason to enjoy a glass more often!
