- Answer press the "input" button on your remote and navigate to "tv" and press "ok" if it is not hooked up to cable. If it is hooked up to cable, navigate to the "hdmi" that your cable wire is attached to and press "ok".

QuestionDo you think hooking it up simple for someone who has never done this before?I'm getting rid of DISH and going back to COX. Do you think the Cox installation guy will hook up the TV/DVD for me?

- Answer I had never done it before and I made it thru. Follow set up directions and go to website for further info. The complete manual is on the website for this TV.

Questionframe from picturethe picture does not fill the in tire screen from edge to edge, it has a 2 to 3 inch frame around the picture.. why?? I have no photo to send

- Answer Try adjusting the aspect ratio. Press the "Aspect" button on the remote and continue pressing it until you see the screen the way you want it.

Questioncan i hook up my old surround sound unit to iti need to be able to hook up my older av/rca jacks from my older surround sound unit. i don't need have special sound. i use it to listen to sound at night when i want the tv off.

- Answer I believe you can probably get adapters/modifiers. Have you tried Radio Shack? Or other electronics stores? When I had older equipment I had to get adapters to match up to the newer stuff.

- Answer You cannot convert analog signals to digital signals. The thing to keep in mind though is that the TV only plays what it receives. If you are only seeing analog signals, it is because the source you are connected to is sending over analog signals.

Questionwhere are the speakers located?We have a tv now that the speakers are in the back and we use it in the kitchen. The sound is very tinny and not that clear. hate it. wanted to know how this one was.

- Answer Typical flat screen speaker placement. Not in front. Insignia tvs usually have good speaker.

QuestionHow to get a DVD to play?I put input on DVD Message on screen reads loading. Next message after 1 minute reads open and disc ejects. What am I doing wrong? I would like to get DVD to play.

- Answer There is the possibility that the disc is being inserted backwards. Flip the disc over and attempt to load it again, or try another DVD.
