• The only place I see to control anything from the monitor itself is the input button which is located center bottom

• There is but one button on this TV: Front, center UNDER the word "INPUT" and it (not surprisingly) controls the input selection (HDMI, A/V, etc) and, via a LONG press, the power. In my case, not having a volume control on the TV is fine as I am using it as a CCTV monitor. Some may find this problematic. If you want a volume control, better not lose the remote.
