I think there is no way to keep a channel from previous scan without loosing it on new scan. I am also looking for a TV that would do this - for those of us in rural areas with stations in different directions the only option is to have multiple antennas pointed in different directions for scan or to take TV to somewhere it can scan all stations in and then bring it back home.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not that I could see in the brief time I tried TV. That is a big drawback on all these new digital TV's for those of us who live in rural areas with TV stations in different directions. Only way I have solved the problem is to put up multiple antennas pointed in different directions or to drive to area with good reception and use an inverter in car to power TV and have a small antenna and then scan . Then when I get home all the channels were already locked in so I could turn the antenna to different direction and get them in.
