Heater elements turn off instantly but residual heat still present on glass top surface. This is not not very hot and cools off quickly, since there is not as much thermal mass like with metallic cooking surfaces.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All induction burners get hot because they pick up heat from pots or pans when they heat them. This burner has more potential to get hot when it heats two pots at the same time. The internal fan in the burner seems to control the heat as well as the single burners.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The surface will get hot due to the pan or pot getting hot while cooking. It does not cool immediately but does not get as hot and cools far quicker than an electric cooktop.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Cools quickly when you remove the pan but is hot when the pan is on the stove... and it works great
