- Answer No it is not auto evaporation. I'm sorry I can't give you a referral to one cuz I'm not really sure how any others are. But if you look online I'm positive you can find some.

QuestionJust installed the Insignia- 250 sq ft air conditioner in my daughter’s room. During her first night of sleep with the air conditioner on, her air purifier notified her of bad air quality & she felt wheezy and her heart was racing. What is causing this?

Questiondo I have to connect the drain hose in order to use the dehumidifier or could I just check on it here and there and drain it when needs be.

- Answer You don't need the drain hose. It's really for emergencies as the evaporator pan handle it.

- Answer After market hoses and adapters are available multiple sources online.. The hose is 5.9 inches and counterclockwise. A second hose plus the coupling would add 60 to 82 inches additional length depending on the hose selected. I will be getting a longer hose also.

- Answer I recommend Fahrenheit. Good luck finding any replacement parts if needed, especially if you bought it at BEST BUY. They are as helpful as flashlight in daytime.

- Answer You could try using a power strip or surge protector which should be higher rated than an extension cord.

- Answer There is an option on the fan speed setting to set constant fan speed so that it will not lower the speed or turn off regardless of the temperature. I believe you can press and hold the button to enable constant fan speed.
