A:Answer The Insignia™ 250 Sq. Ft. Portable Air Conditioner does not have a traditional condensate reservoir container that you need to empty regularly. Instead, it uses a self-evaporating system, which means it automatically evaporates most of the moisture it collects and expels it through the exhaust hose.
However, in very humid conditions, some excess water may still accumulate inside the unit. In that case, the air conditioner has a drain port at the back or bottom where you can manually drain the water or attach a hose for continuous drainage. So, while there is a space inside the unit where water can temporarily collect, it’s not a removable container or tank like in a dehumidifier.
