• A:Answer There is an option on the fan speed setting to set constant fan speed so that it will not lower the speed or turn off regardless of the temperature. I believe you can press and hold the button to enable constant fan speed.

Instead, it uses a self-evaporating system, which means it automatically evaporates most of the moisture it collects and expels it through the exhaust hose. However, in very humid conditions, some excess water may still accumulate inside the unit. In that case, the air conditioner has a drain port at the back or bottom where you can manually drain the water or attach a hose for continuous drainage. So, while there is a space inside the unit where water can temporarily collect, it’s not a removable container or tank like in a dehumidifier. Q: QuestionI’ve had my portable ac for some years now. I have no plugs in the drain and no hose connected. It sfill works amazing, blowing out very cold air. Does it matter that I dont have any plugs in the two drains or any hose in either drain?
