• If the drive was a boot up drive then it might work as a data drive. If the drive has bad partitions or does not run - then no it won't work.

• If the hard drive is readable it should work. It just varies on what you are looking to do with it.

• No.. a faulty hard drive has internal errors and its electronics or physical storage medium might be damaged so putting it in a new drive enclosure is not going to fix those errors
