Yes, it can be installed in a kitchen, but not by itself. It doesn’t have its own GFCI protection. The two easiest options are to use a GFCI breaker on the circuit you want to install it on or (if you have multiple outlets on the circuit) install it in-line after a GFCI outlet using its daisy-chain option.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The plug does not have GFCI built in. You can install it in series with an existing GFCI outlet. Do not replace your kitchen GFCI outlet with this plug.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This one is not GFCI rated. In most modern kitchens there are several regular outlets wired to a single GFCI unit within the wiring. Basically if the outlet already there isn't a GFCI you are fine. If it is don't replace it with this one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Of course you can. The circuit needs gfci protection as it is in the kitchen. That doesnt mean all plugs on the circuit need to be gfci.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.used in a kitchen with a GFCI outlet that was installed before this one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes,this will work in kitchen in line with GFI,but will need a deep housing box..because of the outlet size
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is not a GFCt, so it can't be installed in a wet location. Most of your kitchen probably isn't a wet location. I installed this in a kitchen island.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.More importantly most kitchen circuits are 20 amps, this outlet is only rated for 15 amps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is not GFCI so I wouldn’t recommend using around water
