If this is true, then YES this 3.6A USB port charger will easily be able to provide the 2A that the Dell wants. I hope this helps.

The original DELL charger for your Venue tablet has a capacity of 1.2 amps @ 19.5 Vdc or 2.0 amps @ 5 Vdc. The Insignia charger has a capacity of 3.6 amps of maximum capacity.
