• No, it operates just like any aftermarket USB charging cube. Your device will usually stop accepting a charge once full.

• Same as if you plugged in anywhere else. After it’s charged it goes into standby mode and continues to charge but not at full power. Hope that helps

• no but I don't think the apple charger does either, I think it is the apple product that turns off.
