A:Answer Even though it implies that video files can be played from the USB port, the manual mentions only pictures or a powerpoint type of slide show. It shows nothing about video formats. I also did research on this. You would need a different tv or a smart tv, or you could hook up a Roku Ultra which plays videos but if you are not going to be streaming, they sell MEDIA PLAYERS that would be perfect for that task.
