Q: QuestionDoes this display the temperature of the room?

• A:Answer No it does not but you can set your comfort temp and the machine shuts off when that temp is reached

Q: QuestionHow do I detach the vent hose from the back of the unit? I drain mine in my tub, so need to roll it over to it. I see in the manual how to attach, but not detach. If I force it, it eventually comes off but don't want to chance breaking it.

Instead, wiggle the hose slightly while pulling it gently to loosen the connection. 5.Once the vent hose is detached from the unit, carefully roll it over to your tub to drain the water. 6.After draining the water, make sure to properly reattach the vent hose to the unit before turning it back on. Q: QuestionHello, for the venting to the outside window, is it okay to keep the existing window screen in, or do I need to remove the screen completely? Just worried about insects and other animals entering the exhaust vent and getting into the unit. Thank you!

• A:Answer As long as the unit was kept in the operating position not laying down or anything it’s ok to start right away. If it was laying down or whatever it will need that same time to sit upright before running. Example it’s laying down an hour it will need an hour to sit in the correct position to start.

• A:Answer The cord is about the same length as the exhaust vent tube which has to go outside. I believe the water can be continuously drained with hose via gravity, but I haven’t needed to do so. I just manually drain as needed.
