- Answer It depends on the specific model of Mac Book Pro you have. The modern model should have HDMI out natively and you should be getting both Audio and Video from your laptop. Depending on the model though you may have a video out connection that only carries video such as VGA. In this even you would need a different type of video adapter than the one you are using currently. They do make video adapters for older laptops that will carry the video out from the PC and use the headphone jack on the PC for the audio out and route them both into the HDMI on the TV. I hope this is able to help you out. As an example I added a product to the recommendations on this answer that represents what I meant in my explanation.

QuestionI plan to install the TV in a finished garage which will be heated by a gas stove when in use, when it is not in use, it will be cold - i live in central/western NH, where winters are really winters. Does anyone have experience with such an installation?

- Answer We bought a small one for a cabin we use it the summer we left it there all winter however it was rarely below freezing but the tv still works great

- Answer You should be able to connect the DVD player if it has HDMI or Component outputs and VHS players if it has Component or a RF output. This TV only has HDMI, RF (for the antenna) and RCA Component inputs (red, white "audio" red, blue, green "video) but no Composite input (yellow "video"). If both DVD and VHS player have Component outputs, you will need a Component switcher because this TV has only one set of Component inputs. QuestionWhen using Comcast cable we must use two remotes to do basic functions, the tv remote and the Comcast remote, is this correct? Is there a way to make the tv remote handle everything, or vice versa?

- Answer Your Comcast remote should be able to be programmed to operate this TV, so that the 'Power' button turns on BOTH the T.V. and the cable box, the volume control turns up and down the volume on the T.V. and you use the cable channel controls just as you always have. Try going to the Comcast website and getting a manual for your remote. The programming codes for this T.V. should be in that manual.
