1. It's kinda glossy, and will catch glare. 2. The viewing angle is 178°, so you can watch it from literally any angle in front of the TV. There is no loss in picture with increased viewing angle.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It will catch some glare, but I don't have any light sources in front of it, so the picture is great. It's fine from all reasonable viewing angles. Way off to the side and it doesn't look so good, but that's true of pretty much any flat-screen TV, especially one in this price range. Neither of your concerns are anything to be concerned about, in my opinion.
