Mine has plenty of volume with both broadcast and HDMI. Make sure to turn off volume leveling in the audio menu. An option is to add computer speakers for added volume. All flat panel sets have speakers facing down or backwards for wall placement (the wall improves the sound).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's not the cable box, it's the TV. It's a common complaint. I use an A/V receiver and split the sound coming out of it for watching movies so I can run really high sound levels through my B&W speakers. When I watch via my Apple TV with my wife, volume is up around 85 or higher. Oddly, when I watch TV by myself, I can have it down around 30-40 but usually with subtitles on. I think the only solution is an external speaker or A/V receiver, which would also potentially get you beyond the two HDMI port limit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The best way to increase volume is to purchase a sound bar for this tv.
