QuestionIs the leg extension electric or do you have to manually push your legs since its on a spring? I have trouble with the manual foot extensions when you recline since they spring back up which pushes my knee's up too high. Does this have waist airbags too?

QuestionCan you transport this item on its side without damaging anything. I have a van that isn’t tall enough to fit it standing up based on the ‘H’ in inches but if I put it on its side, it’ll fit. I’m unsure of the packaging material so figured I’d ask. Thanks

- Answer It's probably not recommended to transport it that way but it should be fine as long as you're not doing any off-roading or any big bumps at 90. The vast majority of the weight is in the back and bottom, so laying it on its side for a little bit shouldn't hurt it.

Questionis it possible to partially disassemble this chair? ie. remove the sides/arms. i'm not sure it will fit thru the doorway to my bedroom when fully assembled. i understand that could negate the warranty, but just want to know if it's possible.

- Answer Yes it comes in 2 pieces, the base and the foot bed. They attach the foot bed to the base for you and plug it in and make sure it turns on. At least that's what they did for me last week when they delivered mine.

- Answer It is made of polyurethane leather - an artificial leather that is made of thermoplastic polymer - completely artificial. Commonly used to make furniture. In my epreience, it has held up perfectly after daily use for several months and easy to keep clean & free of pet hair.
