• No. Additional light strips require a seperate power plug. The that comes with the strip is on to turn the light on or off and adjusting the brightness.

• through the clear gel coating, I see the four brown "snip here with scissors" markings, so you can clip it shorter....but I see no way to undo that, or add more to the four feet in the box.
