“I like this priduct.. it is what I need .. but was wondering if another model had a longer cord .. it’s for a desktop tower.. trying to avoid having it dangling off the back., want something to reach the desk .. or at least the top of the tower?????”

Yes the chord is real short. Pick another one. It doesn't weigh anything, though. It will dangle. For a laptop.
