USB/A or a common USB port is the typical flat USB port that you see everywhere. This one has Type A ports. USB/B looks a little like a house (more square). USB/C is the much smaller rectangle shaped one. Then there are the micro USB ports. I attached a picture to help you ID what you have.

Please try again later.This only supports USB 2.0, if the port was blue then that would indicate that it's compatible with USB 3.2 (which 3.2 means the data transfer is just faster). With all that being said you can use USB 2.0 & 3.2 jacks, it just won't transfer at the 3.2 rate. So to answer your question, yes you can plug in a USB-A (which is standard) in this and into the other device you have.
