- Answer This toaster oven is the worst I've had in over forty years; I would return it if it had not past the 30 day rule and I no longer have the original container. A real dud. New and improve my eye.

- Answer It's tied to the cooking time that's how it turns off and on. Temperature and toasting is the other knob.

QuestionAre there actually 2 levels at which you can insert a wire shelf to cook? Is there a stay-on setting for the timer? Looking at a magnified picture of the timer, I cannot tell from the icons on the timer knob whether there is a stay-on setting?
