The info in the right corner is the incoming signal information. If it is showing 720 and you are wanting 1080 you will need to speak with the cable company about changing the output resolution of their equipment.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Believe it or not most high def shows on satellite or cable only go up to 720p. Netflix, Xbox, and PlayStation usually broadcast in 1080p. Check it out for yourself.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. On your cable box,go to MENU/ THEN settings/THEN display/THEN resolution/THEN 1080i or 1080p or both, THEN UNCHECK 720P, 480i and 480p. Most content is in 1080i except for blueray or streaming content, which should be in 1080p.Also your cable may not support 1080p, only 720p,or 720i.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Have the same problem. Have to go to settings on the TV every time I turn on the set and change the setting to 1080i. Satellite co says it' s there problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on your cable service provider. I had the same issue when I setup my TV and had to use the cable box remote, select menu then picture settings. Then in there it will ask about resolution, then select 1080p or for ATT we only get 1080i.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Every cable box is different. Also might want to check the video settings of the tv
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. What model cable box do you own? If it's from your ISP, I'll likely support only 1080i. Your ISP will likely have an online PDF manual showing you how to change the resolution of the box.
