There are composite video inputs. They are tucked up underneath on the back right hand side. This may be why they're not visible in the photos.

It does only have a complete component format(besides the dual hdmi), but does also feature the red and white RCA jack inputs for left and right audio(but no yellow for the video portion of composite). So, no, if the specs list a composite input as a feature, that is an error.
