“Can you provide a link to the owners manual? The specifications repeatedly state '12 volts'. The USB Specification states output of a USB port is only 5 volts. I don't see any pictures or mention of an included Cigarettes lighter to USB port adapter.”

I have a 3 hole usb cigerette charger plug in and use 2 0f the 3 usb's for the phone and the other usb for the camera and it works fine. Hope this helps. Dont have the manual on hand, sorry
