I guess that all depends on how hot your garage gets. This is a very sturdy and well-constructed freezer that works great, however the temperature limitations listed by the manufacturer say that it can be used in areas that get down to -4 degrees and as high as 109 degrees. You may want to check your garage with a thermometer first.
