• They told me at the store that you could lay it down for a short amount of time to get it home. They said to let it stand upright for a few hours at home before turning the power on.

• I did the same. When I was buying it I took the measurements of my car space and it was just fit in lying position. I drove for about 8 miles and it was ok. Before you connect at home keep it upright position for few hours. Hope this helps.
