“Where is the best place to start with the temperature control”

• Hi, I started in the middle but it wasn't getting cold fast enough for what I needed, switched it to max which worked great and now keep it just over the middle mark. Great freezer!!

• I have mine set at just a tiny bit past medium. The freezer thermometer reads a consistent 4 degrees.
