Yes it will work fine. I bought this kegerator a month ago. I used a 1/6 barrel and now currently have a full size 1/2 keg. This kegerator is great. Keeps the beer ice cold. The only regret I have is not buying a dual tap. I am really picky and hard to please but the beer is 36 degrees and it is very quiet. There is also room for some cans in there too to keep them out of your refrigerator.
