• Yes, you can replace the tower to accommodate a 2nd tap. I can fit two 1/6ths at once or one 1/6th and one 1/4 at the same time.

• Yes I believe so. You would have to replace the entire tower. Someone else has done it with one that installed with no modifications to the cabinet. The manual has instructions for installing one or two faucet towers.
