QuestionI'm looking at this or the double tap model for my pin lock kegs. I already have a new perlick tower I plan on putting on either model.Ditching the factory tower and taps. Can you fit up to three of the ball or pin lock sixtel kegs in these?

- Answer I ended up buying this last week and took a chance at it holding three 5 gallon pin lock kegs.. It holds the three kegs easily! No worries if you home brew or buy the 5 gallon pin lock or ball lock kegs..I also measured the inside and should have no problems with the 5 gallon sanke kegs either ..

- Answer You must purchase a European "S" style coupler before you can use a Heineken keg. This was not mentioned in the item description by Best Buy. This was very inconvenient and extra cost to me.The kegerator has cooled to preferred temperature,CO2 working correctly,and went to tap,nothing happened after connecting coupler and engaging tap lever. The omission about the coupler was very poorly thought out decission.

- Answer Apparently Miller uses the short stubby kegs that will not fit in this unit. However the store I purchase my kegs from told me they no longer use those barrels. Everyone uses the taller, skinnier barrel that you can actually fit two of in this unit.

- Answer It will fit the normal Miller and Coors kegs....it won't fit the oversized rubberized kegs... Most liquor stores carry the regular Coors and Miller kegs....my local stores even quit selling Miller and Coors in the oversized rubberized kegs because a majority of home kegerators won't fit the oversized rubberized kegs...

- Answer Possibly a leak to the CO2 tank. Use soapy water where the tubing connects to each place and see if it is leaking. I have had leaks in the past but it never went flat that quick.

- Answer Hello! Unfortunately, the kegerator will not work with lock or ball kegs. This product only works with domestic "D" style kegs. To make it work, you will need a conversion kit to make it compatible with pin or ball type kegs. Regards, Daniel T. - Insignia Support

QuestionI'm trying to determine the location of the draft tower on the top of the fridge? looking for the distance from the back and the sides to the center of the draft tower. Also can I extend the lines ( 4 inches )and run the tower off the top of the bar?

- Answer Extending the lines is possible, but I would recommend finding a way to insulate them from the opening in the top to where you'll be placing the tower. The draft tower has four screws that attach the tower to a plastic bracket that attaches the tower to the top of the fridge, it would be possible to remove that bracket and use the screw holes to mount the draft tower securely. But then you'll be left with exposed hoses (warm beer...) and a hole in the top of the kegerator that will need to be covered as well. As far as the placement of the opening, it is roughly 6 inches from the rear of the unit if I recall correctly. It is definitely placed closer to the rear than the front.

- Answer When I bought mine it showed as the only one in stock for 100 miles or so. When I went to the store, the salesman thought one had been on display on the floor but either it got sold or he was mistaken. They brought the last one from the back.

- Answer Yes - I believe most kegs will fit. HOWEVER - the coupler is for US Sankey kegs. I'm not sure if European kegs will work - there different types of couplers. https://www.kegworks.com/draft-beer/keg-couplers
