The shipping box is rather large. I had a hard time sitting it in my jeep commander. There's no way it will fit in a car. You can rent a u-haul van for 20 buck. No worries. But it, drink, and be happy!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The shipping box is 37'' H x 27'' W x 25 1/2" D. Transported mine upright in a pick up. I wouldn't recommend lying the box on its side. Although everything inside is excellently packaged in a manner which prevents any movement of parts, the directions call for letting the unit stand upright for 8 hours before connecting power, to reduce the possibility of a malfunction of the cooling system, from improper handling during transportation. As for assembly, piece of cake. Screw in 4 casters, push guard rail into place, attach tower and gasket with 4 screws. Screw on handles. That's it, until ready to install a filled CO2 tank and hook up a keg. Instructions are easy and has diagrams. The only thing that took me a minute was locating the washers used, when installing the casters. They are not in the same package. No big deal, couldn't be easier.
