It is quiet. It sits in my front room now and I can barely hear it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This thing runs very little after the initial 24 hours. It is very quiet. It is about the same noise level as most modern refrigerators. I understand the noise issue. I had to discontinue use of my Micromatic as it was way too loud and ran most of the time. The energy guide says $37 annually for electricity so you can assume that it doesn't run very hard for very long.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have mine right in my living room about 4 feet away from where I set to watch TV. Honestly I can barely even notice and when watching a movie I cannot even hear it when it runs. Sometimes I hear a bit of bubbling from it if I'm listening when the compressor is running and typically only when I open the door. I would consider it very very quiet. Almost silent.
