The inside is plastic lined. The floor has a thin sheet metal plate. I have no idea on the soda keg. The inside measurements according to my tape measure here are 20 7/8" wide, 28 1/4" tall, 13" deep on the left side bottom where a 7" wide co2 bottle shelf exists, 19" deep otherwise. Do some math and hopefully this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have use rootbeer kegs from a micro brewery they were in the 5gal kegs and worked fine. However running rootbeer will leave a sarsaparlla taste in the beer line and is very hard to remove, that beening said use the same line for rootbeer and the other for beer only dont mix them. I will get a rootbeer in the summer for the kids and make rootbeer floats"awsem summer time treat". there are cleaners on amazon "BLC" works great to remove the rootbeer taste but it dose take a few cleanings, just wanted to share my experiance with you. goodluck and CHEERS.
