Yes this can be laid on its side for shipping BUT the salesman told us to leave upright and unplugged when we got home for at least an hour before using. We did this and had no problems so far.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can’t say for sure, as I’ve never tried it. However, I was told not to lay it over due to the oil in the compressor either leaking or draining into a part it’s not supposed to. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.YES! No problem at all. However, it must sit upright WITHOUT PLUGGING IT IN for several hours after you put it in place. I heard from 8 to 24 hours. We did not plug ours in for 24 hours. It is really a good freezer!
