A:AnswerI have a 1000 sq.ft. basement. If I set mine to 50% it will run continously. It finally stops for 1 - 2 minutes and then runs again for about 10 minutes. I have to set it for 55% or 60% for it to stay off at least as long as it runs. It just does not have the capacity of my previous two 50 pt units.

A:AnswerI would say it would, if not it would be very close. Also depending on your normal humidity levels. It has a comfort mode that keeps humidity about 50%. Keep in mind that you will have to empty the bucket probably twice a day unless you have a drain for it to automatically drain in to. You might also consider a commercial type Dehumidifier for long term and continuous use.
