• The manual is available at the Best Buy product site. I think lowest temperature is 41 degrees. Manual states: "When frost builds up on the evaporator coils, the compressor cycles off and the fan continues to run until the frost is eliminated."

• Yes, this dehumidifier has an automatic defrost, with an indicator light, and will operate between 41 and 90°F. But like all dehumidifiers the cooler temps reduces performance.
