QuestionDoes this A/C evaporate the moisture build up or do you have to empty the pan/ run a drain hose?

- Answer This one requires you to empty it. It does come with a small hose that attaches to the window kit so you can drain any moisture without having to worry about emptying it. It's much more convenient to have it drain out.

- Answer When you have the A.C. mode turned on I'd rate it a whopping 2. It's pretty loud but it gets the job done pretty well. I don't expect an Air conditioning unit to be quiet, especially one that works efficiently with 14,000 BTU. If you're just running the fan I'd say it's about a 4. If you're like me, I don't mind the sound. I sleep through it but if noise is an issue I would not get this. It's loud.
