• Not smart tv but basically the same by adding a device such as Apple tv, Roku, Amazon stick, Chromecast, etc. and plugging such a device into the HDMI plug on the tv.

• Yes jokatt. You can plug in a smart DVD player, Roku, (ask the Best Buy guys in the TV department) and you suddenly have access to a bunch of aps!
