You can’t rotate them. It measures 44 1/4” exactly to the outside points. A 43” stand will work as it looks like 42” (41 1/2” to outermost points of nub to nub) would the minimum needed, although the outer points WILL be hanging off by about an inch each way. There are some plastic contact nubs only on the outermost points of the width of the feet, so only the farthest point of the nubs are the only part of the feet touching the stand. 90% of the feet don’t physically touch anything as they are metal and would scratch up wood stands. The farthest point of the 12 1/8” wide legs is about 1 1/2” in from the outermost points.
