• It should work, but that ultimately depends on your hardware. If you have a desktop, you can connect to either your gpu or to the motherboard directly. Both options can be finicky so be mindful and patient.

• Not unless your monitors are designed that way. When there are two connectors on a monitor, usually one will automatically disable when the other is plugged in.
