Please try again later.yes, that was my situation, my old blu ray player had a optical digital cable,but when I upgraded to a 4k player it only had a coax audio cable hook up, good thing my receiver had an extra coax input. And just so you know if you have any RCA cables hanging around from old vcrs or anything ( red, white , yellow ) any one of those should work ( red or white ) for sure. You just need the one., before you go out and purchase one.
